Perceivers can often argue both sides because they truly see both sides of an arguement. Sometimes it comes in the form of playing devil's advocate. While flexible and adaptive, that's not always helpful to resolving a problem. It may even intensify the dispute. If
you really feel strongly about something, better to take a stand and defend it.
